  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. sour cream
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. candied cherries, chopped
  • 1 c. walnuts

Directions

    Cook first 5 ingredients to a soft ball stage (236°).

    Cool for 15 minutes; then add vanilla and beat by hand until candy loses its shine.

    Add cherries and nuts.

    Pour in a glass pan. Cool and cut into squares.
