  • 6 to 7 lb. pork shoulder
  • 3/4 c. vinegar
  • 1 c. meat broth (from pork shoulder)
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
  • 1 1/2 tsp. red pepper

Directions

    Boil pork for 30 minutes per pound in enough water to cover. (Add more, if needed.)

    Remove from juices.

    Strain meat juice to get 1 cup and let meat cool.
