- 6 ounces butter (175g)
- 3 ounces icing sugar (75g)
- 6 ounces plain flour (175g)
- 2 ounces custard powder (50g)
Directions

1Cream the butter and icing sugar (which I believe is also known as powdered sugar or confectioners sugar) until light and fluffy.

2Add the flour and custard powder, and mix to a firm dough.

3Take spoonfuls of the mixture and roll into balls about the size of a walnut.

4Place the balls on a greased baking sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.

5Bake at 350F (180C) for 10 to 15 minutes, until lightly golden.

6Cool on a wire rack.
