Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. warm water
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter
- 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. bread flour
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. nonfat dry milk
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 Tbsp. molasses
Directions

1Mix yeast, sugar and water.

2Set aside to proof.

3Combine whole wheat flour, 1 1/2 cups bread flour, salt and dry milk.

4Add butter, honey and molasses to proofed yeast mixture.

5Add flour mixture to yeast mixture gradually, mixing thoroughly.

6Add the remaining bread flour until dough becomes firm.

7Knead on floured surface until elastic (10 to 15 minutes).

8Place in oiled bowl. Cover and let rise until double.

9Punch down.

10Knead 5 minutes; cut into 2 equal parts.

11Let rest 5 minutes.

12Shape into loaves.

13Place in greased pans.

14Cover and let rise until double.

15Bake at 375° for 40 to 45 minutes.

16Remove from pans and cool on wire racks.
