Ingredients
- 2 to 2 1/2 c. bread flour
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
- 4 tsp. sesame seed
Directions

1Grease 2-quart deep casserole dish or 2 (8 x 4-inch) loaf pans.

2Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup

3and level off.

4In large bowl, combine bread flour, sugar, salt and dry yeast.

5Blend well.

6In small saucepan, heat milk and margarine until very warm (120° to 130°).

7Add egg and blend into flour mixture.

8Beat at low speed until mixed and moistened with mixer blades.

9Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.

10By hand, stir in whole wheat flour to form stiff dough.

11On floured surface, knead in 1 to 1 1/2 cups additional bread flour until dough is smooth and elastic (5 to 10 minutes).

12Place in greased bowl; cover loosely with plastic wrap and cloth towel.
