  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/2 bunch celery, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 c. grated cheese
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • flour
  • 1 can peas, drained
  • 1 small pkg. small noodles, cooked
  • buttered bread crumbs

Directions

    Mix ground beef, chili powder and salt; brown in skillet. Add onion, celery and green pepper.

    Saute until onions are transparent.

    In a large roasting pan, spread half of the meat mixture and top with a sprinkling of flour.

    Top with peas and sprinkle with flour.

    Add tomatoes and another layer of flour. Next, spread noodles over mixture and top with grated cheese. Sprinkle bread crumbs over cheese.

    Bake 2 hours at 350°.
