  • 2 lb. beef round steak, ground
  • 1 small onion, finely grated (pulp and juice)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. salad oil
  • 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
  • 1 (1 lb.) can whole cranberry sauce

Directions

    Mix beef, onion, salt and pepper.

    Using 1 level tablespoon for each, shape into balls.

    In large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon each of butter and oil.

    Add half of the meatballs and brown on all sides.

    Drain on brown paper; repeat.
