- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, chopped or 1 (2 1/2 oz.) jar mushrooms
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. cooking wine
- 3 c. chicken broth
Directions

1Boil water and pour over wild rice.

2Let stand for 1/2 hour. Repeat this 2 or 3 times; let cool.
