  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 lb. sliced mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped chives
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. slivered almonds
  • 1 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. wild rice

Directions

    Melt butter. Add all ingredients except chicken broth.

    Cook about 15 minutes or until rice turns yellow (medium heat). Add broth and season with salt and pepper.

    Put in buttered casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 325° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
