- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1/4 c. flour
- 4 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. cooked wild rice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. minced ham
- 3 Tbsp. chopped slivered almonds
- 1/2 c. finely grated carrots
- 1 c. half and half
Directions

1Saute butter and add onion.

2Stir in flour; gradually stir in chicken broth until slightly thick.

3Add cooked rice, salt, ham, carrots and slivered almonds.

4Blend in 1 cup half and half.

5Heat through.
