- 2 heads leaf lettuce
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. green onions, chopped
- season to taste

1After cutting the bacon into small pieces, fry crisp and drain on paper towel.

2Cut lettuce into pieces; add the onions and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

3Add the vinegar to the bacon fat and bring to a boil.

4Pour the hot vinegar over lettuce, tossing thoroughly.
