- 6 medium Bosc pears, peeled

1Place wine, sugar and lemon zest in a 5-qt. slow cooker; stir until sugar dissolves. Add pears.

2Cook, covered, on low 3-4 hours or until pears are tender, turning pears halfway through cooking. Using a slotted spoon, remove pears; cut into slices (save cooking liquid for another use).
