Wine-Soaked Cake

- 2 eggs
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Beat eggs and sugar.

2Add milk, melted margarine, sifted flour and baking powder.

3Mix together.

4Bake at 350° in small Bundt pan until brown.

5Cool and remove from pan.

6Mix 1 cup sugar with 1 1/4 cups water and boil until clear.

7Pour over cake a little at a time, letting it sink in.

8Before serving, may pour wine or rum over cake and serve with whipped cream.

9Good also with fruit! Serves 8.
