- 6 leeks, thinly sliced
- 8 potatoes, quartered
- 4 carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 oz. butter or margarine or 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 chicken cubes
- 2 tsp. powdered vegetable broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- 8 to 10 c. water
Directions

1Cook leeks until glossy in butter.

2Add potatoes and carrots. Add water to cover.

3Add seasonings.

4Simmer 1 hour.

5Liquify, heat and serve.
