- 3 lb. beef stew
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 4 sliced onions
- 2 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 3 potatoes
- 2 1/2 c. sliced carrots
- 1 1/2 c. peas
- 2 c. squash, bite size
- 1/2 c. tomato paste
Directions

1Put meat in flour and brown with the onions.

2Add water and seasonings.

3Simmer for 50 minutes.

4Add potatoes, carrots and peas.

5Cook 15 minutes more.

6Add squash and tomato paste; continue cooking for another 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
