Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. ground pork
  • 1 can water chestnuts (Chinese), raw (whole)
  • 1/4 c. green onions, raw (bulb and white part of top)
  • 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 pkg. wonton skins
  • sweet and sour sauce

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl; mix well.

    Place 1/2 teaspoon of mixture in the center of each wonton skin.

    Fold wonton skin over filling to form triangle. Seal with water.

    Deep fry wontons at 375° for 2 to 3 minutes or until brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and serve with sauce.
