- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. yellow cornmeal
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 1/4 c. cooking oil
Directions

1In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt.

2Set aside.

3In another bowl, mix eggs, milk and oil.

4Add to flour mixture.

5Beat just until smooth.

6Spoon batter into hot, greased cast-iron corn stick pans.

7Fill 2/3 full each.

8Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.

9Makes 20 sticks.
