- 1 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. shortening or 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. soda
- 3/4 tsp. salt
Directions

1Add enough flour to make dough easily handled, about 3 1/2 cups.

2Roll and cut biscuits.

3Place in pan and set in warm place to rise, 30 to 45 minutes.

4Bake in 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
