- 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. milk
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 5 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 pkg. yeast
Directions

1In large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast.

2Heat water, milk and 3 tablespoons margarine until warm (butter does not need to melt).

3With electric mixer at medium speed, add liquid ingredients with the dry ingredients.

4Beat for 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally.

5Add 1 cup flour and beat 2 minutes at high speed.

6With spoon, stir in about 3 cups of flour to make soft dough.
