- 2 packs active dry yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water (105~ to 115~)
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. shortening (part soft butter)
- 4 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Stir in sugar, eggs, shortening and 2 cups flour.

3Beat until smooth.

4Gradually mix in the remaining flour until smooth.

5Cover and let rise in a warm place until double, about 1 1/2 hours.

6(The dough is ready if indentation remains when touched.)
