- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1 c. warm water
- 1 c. milk
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 5 c. all-purpose flour
- Egg Glaze
Directions

1Sprinkle yeast into warm water.

2Let stand to dissolve.

3Heat milk (do not boil).

4In large bowl of electric mixer, combine sugar, salt and butter.

5Add heated milk.

6Cool to lukewarm.

7Stir in dissolved yeast.

8Add 3 cups flour.

9Beat 5 minutes at medium speed.

10Gradually add remaining flour to make a soft dough.

11Turn out on floured board.

12Knead about 10 minutes, until no longer sticky.

13Place in greased bowl.

14Cover.
-
15Let rise until double in size (1 to 1 1/2 hours).
