- 7 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. boiling water, let cool to room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 cake yeast
Directions

2flour, salt, sugar and shortening.

3When shortening is mixed well through the flour, combine egg with the yeast and water and mix well.

4Add to flour mixture.

5Knead together and turn out on floured board, kneading until it forms dough.

7a large bowl, greasing the top and let stand 2 or 3 hours. Then knead

8into small rolls.

9Let stand an hour.
