Ingredients
- 2 c. lukewarm water
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1 scant Tbsp. salt
- 5-6 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Add sugar, salt, shortening and 2 cups flour.

3Blend well.

4Add flour to make a soft dough. Knead well.

5Let rise until doubled in size.

6Make into rolls. Place in greased pans and let rise until doubled again.

7Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes.

8Makes 24 to 30 rolls.
