- 1 c. hot water
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 well beaten egg
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 4 or 5 c. flour
- salt
Directions

1Mix water with butter.

2Add sugar.

3Let stand until warm.

4Add egg.

5Mix yeast in a small amount of water; add to other ingredients.

6Add flour.

7Salt to taste.

8Knead 2 or 3 minutes. Let double in bulk, then punch down.

9Make out into buns; let rise again.

10Bake at 350° or until brown.

11Brush with butter before baking.
