- 4 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 yeast cake or 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. or more cold water
- 1/2 c. warm water
Directions

1Melt shortening.

2Put in sugar; add 1 cup of cold water.

3Then add yeast which has been dissolved in about 1/2 cup warm water. Put salt in flour, also break egg in flour.

4Then make up dough with water and yeast mixture.

5Let rise a little and put in refrigerator.
