- 2 pkg. (1/4 oz.) yeast
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 egg
- 2 c. warm water
- all-purpose flour (approximately 5 to 7 c.)
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water with sugar.

2Meanwhile, cream sugar, salt and Crisco; add egg.

3Next, add dissolved yeast and additional 2 cups water.

4Add flour gradually until dough is no longer sticky.

5Cover and let raise until doubled in a warm place. Punch down and form rolls.

6Spray baking sheets.

7Let rolls raise, covered, until doubled.

8Preheat oven to 425°.

9Bake 8 to 12 minutes or until browned.
