- 2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. fat
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 yeast cake or pkg.
- 1/4 c. lukewarm water
- 6 c. flour
Directions

1Scald the milk.

2Add sugar, fat and salt; let cool until lukewarm.

3Add yeast, dissolved in 1/4 cup water.

4Mix with enough flour to make a soft dough that can be handled.

5Knead lightly a few minutes to obtain a smooth surface.

6Place dough in well-greased bowl.

7Cover with cloth.

8Place bowl in warm area; allow to rise until dough has doubled in size.

9Shape into rolls; place in greased pan.

10Allow to rise.

11Bake at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
