- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. mashed potatoes
- 2 eggs
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand until well dissolved.

2Add sugar, shortening, potatoes, egg and salt.

3Mix real good.

4Add flour to make a fairly stiff dough.

5Knead well. Cover and let rise in a warm place until almost double in size. Work out into small biscuits and place in greased pan (not too close).

6Let rise until almost double in size.

7Brush with butter and bake at 350°.
