- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. hot water
Directions

1Start with 2 1/2 cups flour.

2Add sugar, oil and beaten egg. Dissolve yeast in warm water.

3Add to flour mixture.

4Add hot water; mix well.

5Add 1 1/2 cups flour, a little at a time, to make a stiff dough.

6Pour out onto a floured board for 15 minutes. Knead and put into greased bowl until it doubles.

7Knead and roll out.

8Cut and put on greased pan.

9Let rise again.

10Bake at 400° until brown.
