- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 cake yeast or 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 beaten eggs
- 3 c. unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
Directions

1Put shortening and sugar in hot water; mix well and let cool in large bowl.

2Mix beaten eggs and yeast in cold water in small bowl. Sift flour and salt.

3Combine all ingredients and put in refrigerator for 12 hours.

4Use what you want and roll and cut like biscuits.

5Place in greased pan.

6Let rise until double and bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes or until brown.

7These may be cut and placed on cookie sheet and frozen, then placed in plastic bags. Remove; place in greased pan 3 hours or thawed and doubled in size.
