  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 14 cup oats
  • 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
  • 1 (1/4 ounce) packet active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon artificial sweetener
  • 14 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 large egg

Directions

    Mix flour, oats, seeds, yeast, baking powder, and an desired spices/sweeteners in a large bowl.

    Heat water and oil together for 20-30 seconds in the microwave.

    Gently mix water/oil mixture into dry ingredients.

    Add egg and mix until ball forms.

    Cover bowl, set in a warm place, and allow to rise until doubled in size (about one hour).

    Preheat oven to 350 f and grease one muffin pan.

    Divide batter among muffin cups--makes about 10 rolls.

    Sprinkle additional seeds on top if desired.

    Bake for approximately 15 minutes and allow to cool.
