  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 2 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 7 c. self-rising flour
  • 3 Tbsp. melted shortening or margarine

    Add remaining ingredients. Mix together and

    cover in bowl.

    Let rise until double in bulk. Punch down and

    flour in to make stiff dough. Make rolls. Let rise

    greased pan. Bake at 425° about 20 minutes. Unused dough may be stored in refrigerator.
