- 3 c. milk
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. warm water
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. Wesson oil
- 7 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Scald milk.

2Meanwhile, soften yeast in the warm water.

3In a large bowl put sugar and shortening.

4Pour milk over sugar and shortening.

5When lukewarm, add 1 cup flour; mix well.

6Beat in eggs.

7Beat in remaining flour.

8Turn dough onto lightly floured surface; allow to set 5 to 10 minutes.

9Knead; form dough into a large ball and place in deep greased bowl.

10Turn dough to bring greased surface to top.

11Cover with towel or lid.

12Let rise until dough is doubled, about 1 hour.
