Yellow Bean Soup

  • 2 cans yellow beans or 1 qt. green beans (undrained)
  • 1 1/2 qt. water
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 medium potatoes, diced
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 lb. (2 sticks) kielbasa, cut in 1/4-inch slices

Directions

    Combine first five ingredients and cook for 30 minutes.

    Add kielbasa and cook 30 more minutes.

    Mix flour with a little water to make a thick paste.

    Add to sour cream and then mix into soup. Let come to a boil.

    Leftovers freeze well.
