- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- saltine crackers
- 1 c. shredded cheese
Directions

1Cook squash and onion until tender; drain thoroughly.

3Mash with potato masher until well mixed.

4Add cheese and enough cracker crumbs to hold mixture together.

5Make into patties and brown on both sides in skillet with hot grease.
