- 8 c. sliced squash
- 2 c. sliced onions
- 1/2 c. diced green pepper
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 c. cider vinegar
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Directions

1Combine squash, onion and green pepper.

2Sprinkle with salt and let stand 1 hour.

3Combine vinegar, sugar, celery seed and mustard seed.

4Bring to boil.

5Add squash, onion and green pepper and return to boil.

6Pack in hot, sterilized jars, covering with vinegar mixture.

7Seal.

8Yields 4 pints.
