Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup self raising flour
  • 1/2 cup custard powder
  • 1/3 cup icing sugar
  • 180 grams butter
  • 60 grams butter extra
  • 1 cup icing sugar extra

Directions

    Pre-heat oven to 180c/350f.

    Add all dry ingredients in to bowl
  3. 3
    Soften butter in microwave if required (soft, not melting)
  4. 4
    Rub butter into dry ingredients with fingers until dough forms and no crumbs remain
  5. 5
    Roll dough into long snake and cut in to one inch rounds
  6. 6
    Place rounds on to tray lined with greaseproof paper and press with fork
  7. 7
    Bake for 15-20 mins until lightly browned.

    Remove from oven and cool on tray

    Mix extra butter and icing sugar with electric beaters and sandwich yo-yo's together
