- 1 12 cups jasmine rice
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 1 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon jalapeno, chopped
- 1 12 teaspoons ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 14 teaspoon hing
- 1 tablespoon channa dal
- salt, to taste
- 3 curry leaves
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions

1Cook Rice.

2cool, then mix in yogurt.

3Heat oil in wok, then add mustard seeds.

4When they crackle, add chana dal, hing, curry leaves, ginger and jalapeno.

5Stir and cook 1 minute.

6Add to rice, along with cilantro and salt.

7Chill 1 hour.

8Serve cold.
