- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. diced onion
- 1 garlic clove, chopped
- 1/2 c. diced green pepper
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 20 oysters, drained
Directions

1In a large frypan, heat oil.

2Saute onion, garlic and green pepper until onion is transparent, about 5 minutes.

3Add seasoned salt, cayenne pepper and water; bring to a slow boil.

4Add tomato paste; stir until smooth.

5Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes, stirring constantly.

6Add oysters.

7Stir and let cook 5 minutes. Remove immediately from heat.

8Serve on a bed of lettuce.
