  • 1/2 head cabbage, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced diagonally
  • 1/2 green pepper (large slices)
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 lb. bacon, cut in 1-inch strips
  • 1/2 can corned beef, cut in strips
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. m.s.g.

Directions

    Fry bacon; add carrots and stir.

    Fry 3 to 5 minutes.

    Add cabbage, salt, pepper and monosodium glutamate.

    Cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

    Add green pepper and onions.

    Stir and fry 2 to 3 minutes.

    Add corned beef and 2 tablespoons soy sauce.

    Serve over rice.
