- 6 potatoes (The general guideline is 1 potato per person)
- 14 cup butter or 14 cup margarine (half a stick)
- 12 cup milk
- 3 -6 cups boiling water
Directions

1Peel spuds using peeler or knife, if necessary.

2Cut into 4- 5 pieces each (Quartering).

3Bring water to a rapid boil.

4Add potatoes, cook for 20- 30 minutes (Depending on size of potatoes).

5Drain spuds and beat by hand or with a mixer until mashed.

6Add butter and milk, beat until fluffy.
