Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 large diced green pepper
- 2 sliced celery ribs
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 12 teaspoon oregano
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder
- 18 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 12 cups tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 lb large shrimp
- 4 cups hot cooked rice
Directions

1Heat butter, green pepper, celery, onion, oregano, garlic powder, & cayenne pepper until veggies are crisp.

2Add tomato juice.

3Heat to boil.

4Simmer for 5 minute.

5Mix cornstarch & 1/2 cup tomato juice until smooth.

6Add mixture & shrimp to vegetables.

7Cook till mixture boils, thickens, & shrimp turns pink.

8Let simmer 1 hour.

9Serve over rice.
