Zingy VEGEMITE Scrolls

Ingredients

  • 3 cups SR flour
  • 60g butter
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons VEGEMITE
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 cups grated KRAFT Tasty Cheese
  • 2 spring onionsd, chopped

Directions

    PROCESS the flour and butter in a food processor until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

    Add enough milk to form a soft dough.

    Knead gently on a lightly floured surface and then roll to form a 40cm x 25cm rectangle.

    SPREAD the VEGEMITE over the dough, drizzle with sweet chilli sauce then sprinkle over 3/4 of the cheese and the spring onions.

    Roll up along the long side to enclose the cheese.

    Cut 10 x 4cm pieces from the roll and place close together, cut side up on a greased baking tray.

    SPRINKLE with the remaining cheese and bake in a very hot 220C oven for 20-25 minutes or until cooked and golden.
