- 1 lb. tomatoes
- 4 slices white bread
- 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/4 lb. cheese
- 1 tsp. basil
Directions

1Salt zucchini; let sit for 30 minutes.

2Rinse and drain. Butter a 4-quart dish.

3Layer 1/2 zucchini, 1/2 tomatoes, 1/2 cheese and 1/2 bread.

4Start again.

5Bake until zucchini is tender, about 45 minutes, at 350°.
