- 4 qt. thinly sliced zucchini pickles
- 1 1/2 large garlic cloves
- 1/3 c. salt
- 2 qt. ice cubes
- 4 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. turmeric
- 1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
- 2 Tbsp. mustard seed
- 3 c. white vinegar
Directions

1Wash zucchini thoroughly using a vegetable brush and drain. Trim ends and slice 1/8 and 1/4-inch slices.

2Add onion, garlic and salt.

3Mix thoroughly.

4Cover with ice and let stand for 3 hours.

5Drain thoroughly and remove garlic cloves.
