  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Cream sugar and shortening together.

    Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and add alternately with milk to the batter.

    Grease and flour 9-inch cake pans.
