- 1 lb. butter
- 10 eggs, separated
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 c. sifted cake flour
- 1 lb. sugar
Directions

1Cream the butter with vanilla and sugar until very, very fluffy.

2Beat egg yolks until thick.

3Add to creamed mixture. Beat whites until stiff. Fold in thoroughly.

4Now fold in flour and beat vigorously for 15 minutes or longer.

5Bake in a 325° oven for 1 1/4 hours.
