  • 3 lb cut-up frying chicken
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 20 clove garlic

Directions

    In a small bowl mix salt, peper, paprika and oil to form a paste, spread evenly over chicken.

    In a 5-6 quart slow cooker, place onion slices.

    Arrange chicken over onion.

    Separate garlic into cloves, place around chicken.

    Cover and cook on low 7-8 hours.

    With slotted spoon, remove chicken to a platter.

    Serve garlic and onions on the side or use in a side dish such as mashed potatoes or green beans or both!
