- 5 slices of bread, buttered, trimmed and cubed
- 3/4 lb. grated cheese
- 8 eggs slightly beaten
- 2 1/3 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 3/4 lb. sausage
- green chile (optional)
Directions

1Brown sausage and drain.

2Add dash of cayenne.

3Place bread cubes in 9 X 13 dish pan and spread with sausage.

4Add green chile.

5Beat eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard together.

6Pour over bread and meat.

7Top with cheese.

8Cover with foil and let sit in refrigerator overnight.

9Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.

10Let sit for 15 - 25 minutes before cutting and serving.
