  • 1 3/8 ounces baker's yeast
  • 2 9/16 cups warm water
  • 5/8 cup oatmeal
  • 7/8 cup corn flour
  • 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 2/3 cups wheat flour
  • 2 15/16 cups rye flour
  • 4 3/4 tablespoons rye lightly crushed
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • linseed to taste
  • sunflower seeds to taste
  • sesame seeds to taste

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water and place in the bread machine bowl.

    Add oil and remaining ingredients except for the seeds.

    Select desired setting for bread and the maximum weight, as this bread is quite large.

    Allow to rise.

    Before the final baking cycle, score the surface of dough with several shallow cuts and sprinkle with seeds.

    Remove baked bread and let cool on a wire rack.
